HISTORY
on a bustling Main Street in downtown Norfolk in 1906, a young gentleman by the name of Louis Tabakin opened up shop to sell furniture to the good citizens of Norfolk and all of southeastern Virginia. He believed strongly in the principle that if you treat your customers and people in general with fairness and honesty, that they would return the kindness. So when some customers were genuinely unable to pay cash for their furniture, Mr. Tabakin would extend credit to them so that they too could enjoy the quality and name brand furniture and accessories.
